Meet Chetina Guadalupe

Chetina Guadalupe (she/her), creator of Always Live Lovely, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Consultant, and Speaker/Facilitator who educates others about mental health, through breaking the stigma, equipping them with practical tools, and information for a deeper understanding leading to healing. Chetina believes that if you are informed, you have already won half the battle, but it’s what you do with that information that matters most. Chetina is very passionate about being a guiding light to others, providing encouragement. Chetina strives to reach as many individuals as she can by being her authentic self, showing that therapist are just like you, and therapy can be an amazing experience (Taboo what?! Taboo who?!). Even if you decide to never see a therapist, after one encounter with Chetina you will leave knowing one new way to care for your mental health. Chetina believes that we must first elevate our thinking in order to live a lovely life. How you view a situation plays a big part on your well-being. You must change your thinking, which affects the way you feel, which then affects how you choose to be, and ultimately leads to you livin’ lovely. Through her work with youth, adults, and personal experiences she has learned (and is continuing to learn) what it takes for you to be mentally successful. Chetina knows the importance of informing the community about the skills and tools that are simple, inexpensive, and effective. Chetina also recognizes how difficult it can be to take care of your mental health when you are not in a positive mental space, struggling to have hope, and lack community. Building a positive mindset, gaining understanding, self-awareness, connection, and lifestyle tools can help you to succeed.

Sometimes there is no one to teach us how to be mentally the strongest we can be to persevere. It is for this reason that she was inspired to create something that can provide support in those areas (It’s LIT!!!).

Always Live Lovely is here to help build you up, by being a guiding light now so that you can continue to strive each and every day as an individual and in your roles throughout your community.
