Chetina is an R&B/Neo-Soul artist from Oakland, CA. Inspiration for her music is derived from her life experiences- particularly, as a mother, wife, and therapist. Her music reflects  the journey of working through anxiety, depression, experiences through postpartum, motherhood, and identity.  With her music, Chetina wants to spark motivation to anyone who listens, with a particular focus on women and folks struggling through life challenges. 

An emerging artist with a powerful and soulful tone- She is happy to showcase what it means to “share her voice” in music.  As a trained vocalist who attended the artistically renowned Oakland School of the Arts to becoming a therapist, she aims to show the world the duality of what it’s like to work in mental healthcare, be a mother, a wife, and be a professional singer.  She is also a member of the Oakland based group, Co-Llab Choir.

You’ll find that Chetina shares personal stories, and is vulnerable about her own mental health struggles in her music. She deeply wants to use her art as a vehicle to help listeners heal. 

Recently, Chetina also has lent her voice to various artist associated with EMPIRE including, but not limited to, Shordie Shordie, LaRussell, Rexx Life Raj, Asake, Pezzy, Black Sheriff, Llunar, Money Man, and more. She has also been on songs with Montell Jordan, MALACHI, Ty Dolla $ign, Rob Woods, Kev Choice, Igobythakid, HB Fast, LUDMILLA, Co-Founders The musical, and Just Yola. She currently sings Background vocals for country singer, Miko Marks.

Chetina has also performed for various artist/people/businesses such as Sunday Service Choir, Lyfe Jennings, Webbie, Lil Jon, Sweet Honey and the Rock, Diane Feinstein, August Lee Stevens, Goapele, MeLodious, PHER, Martin Luther, Saweetie, Too Short, Sf Jazz, KBLX, Be Steadwell, Oakland Raiders, Satya, and many more.

Her biggest stage to date has been performing with LaRussell at Outsidelands 2025 in front of an audience of 70k.
